The life of a mulatto is one of constant fear of rejection. We are immediately and always rejected by whites, who view us as black. I have never felt acceptance in the white community. But, luckily we can find some acceptance in the black community. There are some blacks who will instantaneously reject us as black because of our white parent. But to be fair most will accept us as black and be cool.
But the worst are the schizophrenic blacks, who will move back and forth from rejection to acceptance, almost on a minute by minute basis. One minute it is “Wussup, my brotha?” the next minute it is “See, you don’t understand because you’re white. It’s a black thang” You never know what can trigger the rejection. It could be a political belief. Your taste in music. Your taste in food. Who knows? But they like to hold it over your head like a piano on a dangling wire. Hanging out with them is like soldier on watch constantly waiting for the enemy to attack.
Now back to Obama. Is he black or white? Well Chris Rock and Morgan Freeman were some of Obama’s most vocal supporters when he became the first black president. They were so proud and they wanted to take credit for his success. Oh, and they never questioned his “blackness.”
Now since Obama has not delivered on his promises and may go down as one of the worst presidents ever. They are not so sure he is black anymore.
Here is good ole Morgan referring to Obama as black as late as 9/23/2011
“Chatting with Piers Morgan, the Oscar-winning actor also blames the Tea Party saying they’re “going to do whatever [they] can to get this black man outta here”
Now guess what. Morgan tells us that Obama is not black.
My comments in italics
“They (who is they? You mean you, Morgan?) just conveniently forget that Barack had a mama, and she was white – very white, American, Kansas, middle of America(she was a commie from Seattle and Hawaii). There was no argument about who he is or what he is,” Freeman said, apparently referring to the president’s American status.
“America’s first black president hasn’t arisen yet,” he continued. “He’s not America’s first black president — he’s America’s first mixed-race president.”
No argument Morgan? Seems like you are arguing with yourself.
Chris rock was sure Obama was black in 2008.
Now, that Obama has done a horrible job, Chris Rock wants to make sure we never forget Obama’s “whiteness”. Now Obama is no longer black. He is a zebra.
My prediction, the next celebrity to remind us of the President’s whiteness will be Oprah. Oprah is a little bitter. She feels snubbed by the white house. It is time to pull the “You are not really black card.”
Let’s say tomorrow, a mulatto discovers the cure for cancer. Not one black in America will remind us of his “whiteness.” The day after a mulatto is discovered as the world’s worst serial killer, every black in America will be quick to point out, “That he is not really black.”
